Chris Hiatt has over 35 years’ experience in the property and construction industry and was Chairman of JLL’s National Office Agency team before joining Landid, where he has been leading on the development of a portfolio of offices in emerging London locations and in the Western Corridor, in partnership with investors such as Brockton Capital.
Chris has led the development of The Porter Building, a new build 120,000 sq ft office in Slough, which is the first UK office building to attain WELL Building certification, a global rating system focused on the impact of buildings on the health and wellbeing of their occupants.
He has also overseen the marketing and leasing of The Charter Building, in Uxbridge, a complete transformation of a tired 1980s office that was once the HQ for Coca Cola into a cutting edge 240,000 sq ft contemporary workspace.
Chris is passionate about creating contemporary workspaces and has been thinking about sustainability, in the widest sense, long before it entered the property mainstream, particularly how it relates to new working practices and London’s rapidly evolving work/life dynamic.
He has a unique perspective on the future of work, particularly around wellbeing and regularly contributes to panel debates and roundtable discussions.
Chris is eager to hear from occupiers interested in cutting edge workspace and is always on the lookout for fresh opportunities to reposition office assets or develop best in class offices in London’s emerging locations.
