How did you get into coworking?
In 2013, I met the cofounder of an unknown start-up called WeWork. Within a week, I moved to New York and began a journey that has taken me worldwide, launching coworking workspaces.
How do you balance the need for brand consistency with creating unique, culturally resonant coworking spaces?
The key is to clearly understand the brand’s ‘why’ and mission. Then, extract the critical brand standards and then, finally, employ the right people who ‘get’ the brand and understand the standards to implement. They will ensure that the workspace is culturally resonant.
What are you most looking forward to at GCUC London?
Meeting the attendees and discussing new, innovative approaches to creating great coworking spaces.
